Meridian Community Services

Our approach

A consistency-first model

Most breakdowns in support come down to one thing: who turns up, and whether they keep turning up. We built Meridian around the opposite.

A participant supported to do everyday things in the community

The same people

Consistent workers who know the person and are known by them. When the faces stop changing, trust has room to build and progress has somewhere to grow.

Matched, not assigned

We write each role around a specific person: their interests, their routines, and what a good match looks like. We hire for that match rather than to fill a gap.

Prepared before day one

Workers are briefed on routines, preferences and what good support looks like before they arrive. No one walks in cold and no one has to start from scratch.

We stay when it's hard

When behaviour escalates, we lean in and work the problem alongside the family. We don't step back and we don't hand the person back.

Founder-led

Every new person starts with our founder

We’re founder-led in a literal sense. Before any support worker is introduced, our founder works the first shifts himself and learns the routines, the triggers and what good support looks like for that person first-hand.

It means we know the match is right before anyone else steps in, and it sets the standard the rest of the team works to. That’s deliberate, and it stays that way as we grow.

Getting started

How working with us begins

1

Get in touch

Call us or send an enquiry. Tell us a little about the person and what they need.

2

Meet and greet

We sit down together, usually over a coffee, to understand the situation and whether we're the right fit.

3

Our founder works the first shifts

Before any worker steps in, our founder supports the first shifts himself. That's how we know the match is right.

4

Your matched worker begins

We introduce a worker chosen for this person, briefed and prepared, and they keep coming back.

Let's talk about the right support

Tell us a little about the person and what they need. We'll take it from there.
